The Tadre Mill

The preserved mill 'Tadre Mølle' is situated by the manor house Aastrup in the northern part of Sealand. The mill is one of the only watermills, which can still be seen in its original place of erection. The mill is preserved and its history can be traced back to the 14th. century. By the mill you can see the exhibition 'Elverdamsdalen og møllerne' (the Elverdam valley and the mills), which deals with the valley, in which the mill is situated, as well as the history of Tadre Mølle. In the mill café you can purchase organic graham flour, which are milled here, among other things.

The present grain mill is from approx. 1840.
